The Debut of Linda C Banks

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and check it out.  I hope you find it easy to navigate and enjoy reading through the pages.  I am excited to showcase my services as well as an expanded range of public speaking services. The list includes customized seminars, workshops, lectures and keynote speaking.  Individual services feature nutrition, hypnotherapy, guided imagery, subtle energy work and the leading-edge Beyond Weight Loss personalized program.

One of the biggest challenges in developing the website was how to let you know, in a nutshell, what it is I do. The nutrition aspect is obvious, but a mere tip of the iceberg,
so to speak.  In talking with my very talented web designer, I explained that at the heart of all my services the primary intent is to increase self-awareness.  So, the clever girl that she is, my web designer combined nutrition with self-awareness and voila.  We feel sure that those of you reading these words will appreciate what we are saying here.

Self-awareness is really the underpinning of all my services. Nutrition is simply the vehicle I chose to help others become more self-aware.  Why nutrition?  Because there are so many people that have issues with food and it is never about the food.  I am sure this is no surprise to most of you, yet diet after diet after “new” weight loss scheme or “eat this and you’ll lose weight” continues to flood the media.  People are still hopeful that there is an easy way out.  But dieting or losing weight is not the easy way, nor is it even a way out.  In fact for many people the reasons they developed unhealthy eating patterns and habits in the first place are the very reasons that they want to avoid looking at – issues of low self-esteem, lack of love, unhappy circumstances, feelings of low self-worth, stressed out, unable to relax – and so on.  You get the picture.

There is a solution to all of this – a sort of big picture and definitely long term approach – get to know yourself.  It is comforting and far easier than you think.  As you relax into yourself, it is easier to stay centered, see the humor, and allow the flow of your life to naturally unfold in a way that is to your advantage, that is, your personal growth.  And, as your relationship with yourself improves, the need to use food or any substance for that matter in an unhealthy way simply fizzles or fades away – and what emerges is a solid sense of self with true inner security and self-worth; this brings a peacefulness that is beyond description.

There is nothing more exhilarating, more exciting, and more satisfying than the joy of self-discovery! This is what you were born to do.
